It’s been quite a hectic couple of days again since I last wrote to you. With the lockdown being loosened much more, I have managed to see people and catch up with others... God it is a struggle to keep distanced, especially when you have a just turned 3 year old and a baby. That day I messaged you, it turned out to be a very hard day in keeping the kids(especially Benji) under control. I nearly had a panic attack over the mess in the house. Toby incredibly offered for us to get a cleaner, I couldn’t believe what he has said. So now we have a cleaner coming to the house each week till September. I was partly worrying about money and social distancing measures but atm my insanity is the most important for the kids. We’re hardly spending much because of lockdown as well. She came the other day, the house looked beautifully tidy, it made me realise how much I love our Edwardian semi terrace house is. That’s before it gets cluttered with toys and mud from the garden.
I thought I would get writing my blog early in the morning today. It’s 6.30am and already I have had to stop Benjamin from raiding the cupboard, he also woke up poor Elliott by climbing in the cot and playing with the mobile. We are in the potty training faze at the moment. It seems to be going well as long as Benjamin is completely naked and he does everything himself. I’ve tried to get him on the potty for months but had no luck as every time I’ve reminded him, it’s steared him further away from the potty. Though the other day he just went to the potty, which I sat out in the garden and he was naked from playing in the paddling pool. He managed to do a big poo as well. We washed it away into the toilet and he washed his hands and then I gave him a Paw patrol sticker which we put on the good behaviour chart. After that, he continued to do countless amounts of wees and poos in the potty, probably one poo and wee which was separated into many for the stickers. Though good as he’s l...
